A Jewelry Box for a Client's Fiancee

Crafted from the highest grade California Claro Walnut lumber, this jewelry box features interlocking joinery, a hand rubbed oil and wax finish, and three storage compartments.  Beneath the lid is a removable compartment with a hidden compartment below.  A discrete drawer was cut from the same board that wraps along the exterior of the box.

When closed, the box appears to be a simple box with no visible openings.

Solid wood drawer runners allow the drawer to slide with ease.
